Max’s interest in robotics and automation started early in life when, as a student, he apprenticed in the Mechatronics program for WIPOTEC-OCS. Now, with a career spanning over a decade in the advanced automation space, Max has been on all sides of a project, from technical servicing and engineering to project and account management. He has served customers all around the world for leading innovators in the pharmaceutical industry including WIPOTEC, STÄUBLI Robotics and AST. At AST, Max is an integral part of the Business Development Team and leverages his expertise to be a constant resource for customers on the latest fill-finish breakthroughs and automated advancements in aseptic processing. From the copious notes he takes during the first conversation with a customer to seeing a project come to life, installed, and qualified, Max has a passion for helping life science professionals produce safe, effective parenteral products for patients in need.  

As a Director of Business Development, Sebastian Wiesbock represents AST's innovative, customer-first approach globally, where he plays a crucial role in the company's commitment to providing innovative aseptic processing solutions both domestically and internationally. Sebastian leverages his experience in the software engineering and pharmaceutical technology spaces to walk aseptic processing professionals through the wide range of solutions and technologies available for their manufacturing needs. Fluent in German, English, the revised Annex 1, and the latest fill-finish innovations, Sebastian is passionate about learning and working towards the next frontier of safe, effective parenteral products. Sebastian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management.
